A small studio with a clear idea.

Practical Zen is a Barcelona-based practice for people who want the real benefits of mindfulness and breathwork without the spiritual marketing. Built by one person, slowly, and on purpose.

What we believe

Learn how mindfulness and meditation transform your life.

Evidence first.

If we can’t explain how a practice works, we don’t teach it. If the evidence is mixed, we say so.

Calm isn’t a personality

It’s a skill. One you can build with specific practices, the same way you build strength or endurance.

Breathwork Guidance

Improve sleep and emotional health with practical breathing techniques.

No spiritual performance

No white-clad photoshoots, no dogma, no proof we can’t define. Just practice.

Slow over scaled

Small rooms, real teaching, honest relationships. The business grows at the pace the practice can hold.

How it started

Hi, I’m Celine! a scientist, entrepreneur, and passionate advocate for mindfulness. With a background in immunology and biomedical sciences, I’ve spent years exploring how the body responds to stress, disease, and healing. My own journey with an autoimmune condition led me to search for balance beyond heavy medicine.

Since I was young, I’ve been living with an autoimmune disease. As a young adult, my health declined, my energy became limited, and stress became overwhelming. That’s when meditation and breathwork stopped being interesting ideas and became tools I actually needed. On days where my body wasn’t cooperating, I had to find things that truly worked, and understand why they worked.
That search brought me to Zen. As a scientist, I didn’t just try it, I really got into it. I learned how breath, awareness, and simple practices can change how we feel, how we respond, and how we move through difficult moments.

This is where Practical Zen started. It’s grounded in science, because I want to understand what I teach. And it’s deeply rooted in Zen, while keeping things simple, connected and honest. I’m not a Zen master (that dream is still alive), nor do I pretend to have all the answers or to be some kind of guru. I’m someone who is dedicated to the practice, who continues to learn and grow, and who wants to share the tools that have genuinely helped me.

This is my way of offering a starting point. Simple tools that you can actually use in daily life.
